I am an individual desirous of investments online. My desire recently landed me in the waiting hands of Nigerian online investment scam. I visited an investment site managed by NIgerians then known as www.goldencash.webs.com. They posed to be an investment company registered with the CAC and known as Golden Wealth Investment Network International RC. 198836 . Amounts ranging from N10,000 upwards were requested for investment purposes with duration of 20 days at given percentages.

I entered with sum of N100,000 for 20 days at 600% earnings , which would have given me N600,000. At the expiration of the date of investment, i requested for N100,000 to be paid into my account and the remainder re-invested . But to my dismay, i could not even be paid my capital.

The next development was that they were out of cash and there a spurious demand on me to bail them out with further cash. This , according to them was because of their inability to get their transfers from abroad. That really got me worried. I wondered why should a firm which boasted on their website or rather sales page that they are in control of investors funds running into billions of naira face this difficulty. I did not respond with any money in this regard. In this instance there was a sudden change of account, bank names and persons running the purported company. The change of baton took place between one MR.THOMPSON MAYOWA, with BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER 003200004406, BANK PHB to SMITH OLAWALE. BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER 131200027078 (BANK PHB} and OCEANIC BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER 0800001016058 respectively.

To make matters worse, their sales page was cleverly yanked off the internet , so there was no actual means to communicate nor show they existed. In my bid to really get at the root of the whole matter, i tried getting in touch on the phone lines/help desk numbers (07040347082 and 07040506757) we have communicating on. This too became suddenly dead or not reachable till date. Even emails that came rapidly stopped too. But i believe they are still alive and waiting to do more harm to Nigerians. With yahoo connect, i have seen their email contact come up, and when i try to chat live , they skip off. M y search has equally let me know that they have ripped other people too. SEE (www.flenjour.com).

The business address given for contact was :: Golden Wealth Investment Network , 48, Suleija Road, Bwari, Suleija Near Abuja, Niger State. Since this experience , i have come to believe that all the information given were fake and i have been ripped. I believe also that so many exist online and are ripping people of their hard earned resources. Please equally avoid sites like www.hurdinvestmentnetwork.blogspot.com. They have basically the same mode of operation.

It is unfortunate as several Nigerians have been duped like this. However a lot of banks have a hand in this businesses. Some banks knew about what some of those account were doing but did not raise a eye brow simply because of deposits. They benefit immensely from these deposits. May God intervene
