The alleged offence was allegedly committed t the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, on November 12th November 2009
The accused Micheal Ifegwu, allegedy connived with others (at large), to commit felony through forgery.
The prosecution, in a suit number F/84/09, told the court that the alleged offence contravenes the provisions of sections 516 of the Criminal Code, Cap 17, Vol. 11, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2004.
Michael and his accompanies were alleged to have unlawfully and fraudulent forged the FIA u-17 World Cup tickets for football matches played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere, Lagos on November 12th 2009
The matches were the ones involving contravenes section 467 of the Criminal Code Cap 17, Vol. 11, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2004.
Citing section 468 of the criminal Code Cap 17, Vol 11, Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2004.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the four-count-charge.
The trial Magistrate, Mrs. S.K Matepo granted him bail in the sum of N100, 000. He is also expected to deposit of N50, 000. to court.
In another suit brought before the same court, a compliant, Uka Jacob, is seeking redress from the court for having part of his left ear bitten off by one Emiloju Eiyekole.
The alleged crime was committed at Oko Agbon Iwaya, yaba, Lagos on November 5th 2009
According to the prosecution, the offence is punishable under section 335 of the Criminal Code Cap 77, Vol.2, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria. 2003.
Emiloju, however, pleaded not guilty to the one-count-charge
Mrs. Matepo granted the defendant bail for N20, 000 with the provision that he produced surety. Trials continue.
