The suspect, Sarajo Muhammed of Nyanya Tipper Garage was arrested on November 17,2009 and allegedly found with motor spare parts and iron rods.
A police officer, Francis Udofia, said the suspect is a habitual criminal, hence his arrest when he was found with the items.
“The accused could not give an account or show any prove of ownership of the items when he was accosted and the items are with police, who are still expecting the real owner to come and claim them with concrete evidence,” he added.
The police officer said the suspect win soon be charged to court as soon as investigation are completed.
When our reporter sought the suspect, reaction to the allegations, he declined to comment, saying he has nothing to say concerning that matter.
