An applicant, Ameh Joseph, 18, was yesterday arraigned before an Ejigbo
Magistrate’s Court in Lagos for allegedly defiling an 11-year old girl. Joseph however pleaded not guilty to the one-count charge of having canal knowledge of the girl without her consent.

MARKET women at Kuje Area Council, last Thursday complained of armed rob¬bery attacks along Kuje-Gwagwalada road.
They said women are at times raped by the robbers.
